The e-cards for perfect pinging

I like the idea of sending e-cards rather than paper cards to save time and money, but I couldn't bring myself to send one because it seemed like my only choices were singing turkeys or too-warm-and-fuzzy messages on pastel flowers.
But now, there's Delivr.net, which lets you "search over 3,000,000 [Creative Commons] licensed images, or lookup your own CC licensed pix on Flickr to create a unique custom greeting card."
Perfect. Just the right photo and the right message is all I need.

Thank you for the link. I sent my grandma one of those cards, and it made her very happy. I'm definitely going to use it again.
I'm always glad to hear suggestions in how to implement things in Never Eat Alone. I would like to hear some suggestions and/or stories about small talk. The chapter in Never Eat Alone contains some of the best insight I've read about the matter, but I still don't feel like I've made it over the hump. Please enlighten me, if you would. In the meantime, I'm going to read that chapter again to make sure there isn't anything I've missed or forgotten!

Although there are times I send a quick ecard, I believe in the old fashioned tradition of giving paper cards whenever possible. In the workplace it is great to receive and display a word of encouragement or praise from those you spend many hours each week with. Instead of giving a box of "All Occassion" Cards, I often give new associates an assortment of cards I pick out (based on scenarios related to our line of business or upcoming events) so they don't lack the ability to communicate with others on their team. Once they have given and received a few they see the value and seek out cards of their own to keep on hand and share.
